Course Overview
This course provides Plumbers, Steamfitter/Pipefitter Journeypersons with the requirements to challenge the CSA Medical Gas Piping and Systems Installations Certification exam.
 
You will learn the skills needed to install and maintain pipelines for medical gases, medical vacuum, medical support gases, and anaesthetic gas scavenging systems. pipeline systems in accordance with pertinent codes.  You will also learn the skills needed for tube bending and will be able to perform a Brazing Performance Qualification (PQR). Once both requirements have been obtained, you will be eligible to apply to the CSA to write their " Medical Gas Piping and Systems Installations Certification" exam to become certified.

Course format:

         Theory: Virtual asynchronous - 32 hours  (The class is monitored for participation to ensure that the 32 hour CSA eligibility requirement is met. Anyone not meeting the 32 hours will be ineligible)

          Practical: 4 hours of hands-on learning that provide the skills for tube bending enabling you to perform a Brazing Performance Qualification(BPQ)

MCAS / Merit Member: $1900.00 + GST 
Non - Member:                $2600.00 + GST
